Valley Children's Healthcare
Valley Children's Hospital located in San Joaquin Valley (Madera, CA) is always looking for books to add to their collection. By coordinating with George's Book Club, we were able to contribute almost 1000 dollars worth of books! This special collection includes a diverse selection of bilingual books in Spanish and Hmong, as well as engaging reads for all ages toddlers to teens (ages 2 to 13).

Children's Hospital Los Angeles
Children's Hospital Los Angeles aims to aid children's healing journey through the power of storytelling and engagement. This collection features a wider variety of interactive books, available in both Spanish and English, to better serve the diverse needs of the patients. We were grateful to collaborate with the Literary Healing organization to ensure timely distribution of the books to children receiving care!

UC Davis Medical Center
The UC Davis Medical Center requests a variety of books for the NICU to help kids develop their literacy skills. Many of these classic children's books will help foster early language development, spark imagination, and create meaningful bonding moments between infants and their families during their hospital stay.
Due to this being an in-person drop off, we were able to place our Kid Kompanion stamp on all the books in order to truly make our "mark" in the hospitals!
